"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Pardon me for not having the pleasure of knowing your mindset before making you this offer as it is utterly confidential and genuine by virtue of its nature. I write to solicit your assistance in a financial deal involving US $18.5 Million United States Dollars. This fund which represent the share of a Business deal my late father signed with an oil and gas company.

The funds are deposited at separate locations, safe and highly confidential. $6,500,000.00 Six Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars is deposited at a private security firm here in Accra the capital of Ghana, and $12,000,000.00 Twelve Million is deposited at the Bank.

Upon your response, I shall guide you on how to apply to the Bank or the Security Firm so the funds can be release over to you. If you concur with this proposal, I intend for you to retain 40% of the funds while 60% shall be for me. I will stop here and look forward to your prompt reply.
