"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Jonathan Imotan

Good day dear,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you; I am Jonathan Imotan, the
personal
assistance to Mrs. Cecilia Ibru, former MD to Oceanic Bank Nigeria plc, who is
now in detention because of her activities towards the failure of the
Bank last
year.

My boss while in office deposited some money in an Asset Management Company in
London, which she has now instructed me to look for a trustworthy
Foreigner who
can contact the Asset Management Company and claim the fund, which now has
matured to the tune of $25.5M (Twenty-Five Million Five Hundred United States
Dollars only)

Finally, as soon as I receive your response to this, I will furnish you with
more details on this, also give you full information of the Asset Management
Company where the fund was deposited .

Please you may read more below via the link:

Waiting to hear from you,

Yours faithfully

Jonathan Imotan
