"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My president was a successful man during his short tenure as the president of Nigeria, and he has made so many achievements to this country Nigeria. He restored peace in the Niger delta and other great amenities that Nigeria is enjoying. His death is a great lost to me and the people of Nigeria. When the sickness was unbearable he was flown to Saudi Arabia for treatment where he stayed three months without good result so I asked the president of Saudi to allow my husband back home because I was not seeing any good result. He was flown back to Nigeria after three months where is met his death.

Before the death of my president he called me that he has a lot of funds deposited with some banks and security companies here and outside Nigeria. Now i need your help and also will like to trust in this matter with confidentiality. I will like you to assist me firstly with the sum of US$30.2 Million United States Dollars, which he had deposited with the! security company. I will like transfer this fund from Nigeria to your country. I have nine children so my son has decided to invest this fund outside Africa for political reasons.

My son and myself has  proposed that you should receive 30% of the entire amount for your help in the transfer of the fund, then 60% of this money shall go to us while 10% remaining will be used to cover any cost or expenses incurred by the both parties in the process of this transaction.

Please, I am honorably seeking your assistance in the following ways: I have spoken with the security company director he will change the ownership of this fund your name and I have the entire legal document to back it up.

(1) To provide a bank account into which this money would be transferred to:

(3) Possibly you can forward your id for identification.

Would you immediately confirm your interest in this transaction then I will give you more de! tails as to how we shall conclude this transaction. My son will meet you over there as soon as the first transfer is concluded.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Best Regards,
Dr.Harry Barnes
