UNCLAIMED INHERITANCES

Hello,

We have been trying to get in touch with you and your family. We have
some news
for you and your family. We just wanted to notify you and your family
about the
death of Mr Heimen de Waal , We know you never might have heard of him but
he was actually related to you. He died "Intestate" which means he
never made a
Will before his death. NSW Trustee and Guardian have done a lot of
research and
looked for other relatives of Mr Heimen de Waal but was unsuccessful until
we finally found you.

When owners or rightful heirs fail to claim a forgotten asset over a specified
number of years known as the dormancy period, those left holding the abandoned
funds: banks, stock brokers, utilities, employers, life insurance
companies and
others - transfer custody to a government unclaimed property trust
account in a
process known as escheat.

Unclaimed inheritances worth £87 million are up for grabs with the pool of
eligible relatives extending to the cousins of deceased NSW residents.
The state
government distributed £34 million to unsuspecting relatives in the 2007-08
financial year but unclaimed estates remain at more than double that amount.

The recipients were either named in a will or a relative of a person who died
without a will.

Three Sydney people who died in the past 10 years left large estates that have
yet to be claimed.

Helen Spence, of Burwood, died in 1999 at the age of 89, with an estate valued
at £942,000.

Edward Ward, of Balmain, died in 1996 at the age of 53, with an estate worth
£906,000.

Mr Heimen de Waal , of Padstow, died in 2006 at the age of 85, with an
estate valued at £863,200.

Recent changes to the legislation means first cousins are now eligible heirs
after spouses and children, parents, siblings, grandparents and aunts
and uncles.

Right now you and your family are the only known surviving relative of
Mr Heimen de Waal
which means that you automatically inherit an estate valued at £863,200
