Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I would like to appeal to you confidentially to assist me concerning my late father's fund deposited in the international bank here in Gambia of $6,5 Million I want to move out of here, because the crisis that started here is over one year, now and is still on, and there is no sign that it
is coming to an end

Also, the condition in this camp is not conducive for us, that has life very difficult for me. Can I trust you to provide your full address and a place for me to stay? Can I also trust you to keep this fund when you are advice to do so.
