"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir, I am from DR Congo, but I have been in the refugee camp
here in Ghana for the past 8 months now.
my mother was murdered in the eastern region of the DR.
I lost my father in Kinshasha during the recent crisis in the
country,
thereby making me an orphan.
before, he was a business man, dealing with gold in his time,
and he was successful businessman.
So after his death, I left for Ghana with his
properties including three (3) strong boxes of consignment
Sir ,am pleading to inform you that my father left something for me to
start up my life.
With much faithful I want to let you know that my father left three
boxes of consignment containing $100.000,000.USD. each, and 24
karat of diamond.
Right now the consignments are in a security company here in Accra,Ghana.

Now i want to take you as my trusted foreign assistant who
can assist me to transfer the boxes down to your country

Please I am a student and I want to come to Your country to further my
education there, as i am now an orphan.
