Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I know that you may be surprise about this mail but am very sorry for coming to you in this way and any inconvenience this mail may cause you but I believe firmly that through the basis of humanitarian assistance my plight will be treated with favourable attention.

I am writing you this mail with all sincerity of my heart as I have an interest in knowing you much better as i am requesting for your helping hand with the understated business proposal.

I am scare about telling you my main principal purpose of contacting you apart from being a friend. Please kindly pardon me if you find the content of my message disgusting

I am Miss Susan Konan the only daughter of late Mr and Mrs Joseph Konan,i am 22 years old.My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan,the economic capital of Ivory coast,my father was arrested and later died in prison on Dec 15 2005 after spending a year in prison by the present government,he was arrested for financing the rebels that controls the northern part of the country. My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special.

Before the arrestation of my father on Nov 2004 here in Abidjan he secretly called me and told me that he has the sum of five million,five hundred thousand United State Dollars. USD ($5,500,000) left in fixed suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan,that he used my name as his only daugther as the next of Kin in depositing of the fund.

He also explained to me that I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose and start a new life there in your location to avoid been killed by thesame group.

I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways:

1) To help in receiving this money in your country.

2) To serve as a guardian to this issue and the fund.

3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my Education and to secure a resident permit in your country.

Moreover, I am willing to offer you a good percentage from the total sum as compensation for your effort/input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated bank account.

Furthermore, you will indicate your option towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be concluded within fourteen bank working days (14 days) after 10 days of receiving this mail and you didn't signify your interest to assist me then i will look for another person.
