"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I apologise for any ambarrassment which this mail might cause you as we did not know before. I am a total stranger to you but i believe we can know ourselves better through here. I am Eric Emezie from Cote D'Ivoire in West Africa. I am living in Abidjan the economic capital of my country. I am the only surviving child to late MR and MRS victor Emezie. I lost my parents recently in a fatal car accident along express highway in the city during their out to honour an invitation. My mother died at instant while my father died after some days in the hospital.
Presently, i am living in our country as an orphan and i am the only surviving child.

My late father was a well known supplier of agricultural equipments and wealthy cocoa marchart based in my country Cote D'ivoire formerly known as (Ivory Coast).

I want to relocate to your country for safety reason and i wish you could grant me favour to my inherited money valued ($4.5 million) four million Five hundred thousand united state of american dollars which my late father deposited in a fixed suspense account in a bank here in my country. Immediately after the death of my father, my wicked uncle started to seat on my father's properties. He refused to mourn for my parents according to our tradition and now he is looking after my life so that he can seat comfortable on my late father's wealth. Presently, i am not leaving in my family house, I ran away from my family house to hide myself in a confidential place to avoid the present of my wicked uncle around me. This is why i decided to contact you so that you can help me transfer the money to your account in your country to enable me come over there to further my education while you will invest the money in a profitable investment and the profits will be shared between us.
