"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTN!
You may be surprised to receive this letter from me since you do not know me personally. I am Mr Ankor,The first son of late Dr Michael Ankor, a wealthy business man who was murdered in the land dispute in Zimbabwe which I have no doubt you may be aware if you listen to either BBC or CNN.
Some documented pictures of this incident, you can view at

This business proposal will benefit both of us. Before the death of my father, he had taken me to Accra Ghana to deposit the sum of USD7.5(SEVEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND USD in the Security Bank East Legon Accra as if he foresaw the looming danger in Zimbabwe. This amount was meant for the purchase of new machines, chemicals for the farms and establishment of new farm in Swaziland.

This land problem came when Zimbabwean President Mr. Robert Mugabe introduced a new land act reform, which wholly affected the rich foreign farmers. This resulted in the killing and mob action of Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society. In fact a lot of people were killed because of this land reform act of which my parents were among the victims.
They murdered my lovely parents at about 10.45am in our white colure E Class Mercedes Benz and born our houses My parents left ,I flew the country with tears to Ghana where my father deposited with a Security Bank in (Ghana the sum of(USD7.5 M}{SEVEN Million FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND USD}as yellow Gold and family valuables. This money he intended for the opening of the new hectares of farm land in Shiselweni Village near Umbuluzi in Swaziland which my father negotiated to buy with the help of the Swaziland Monarch King Suboza Mswati (lll) as well as buying tractors for the newly site which my father had made all the enquires from NEW LONDON TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT . ROUTE.
It is against this background that I am currently in Ghana and decided to transfer my father’s money to a foreign country since the law of Ghana prohibits refugees from opening any bank account or to be involved in any financial transaction throughout the territorial zones of Ghana

As the only child of my parents, I am saddled with responsibility of seeking a genuine foreign account where this money could be transferred into without the knowledge of my government who are bent on taking everything. All I seek for is an honest man or woman, whom I can entrust my future and that of my family; I must also let you know that this transaction is 100% risk free. If you accept to assist us, we will embark without further delay on the next step for the transfer of this money out of Ghana based on the arrangements I have made so far.
This money I intend to use for my investment and growth in your country. I have two options for you; firstly, you can choose to have certain percentage of the money for nominating your account for this transaction. Or you can go into partnership with me for the proper profitable investment of the money in your country. Whichever options you want feel free to notify me.
If you do not prefer a partnership, I am willing to give 30% of the money while the remaining 70% will remain for my family and me. If you are really capable and willing to assist me. please note any expenditure that you must encounter will be discounted from the money after the transfer before your percentage. please email me with email address above. While reply please,

Finally, please treat this matter as urgent as possible. I am daring need to leave this country since I cannot invest the amount here in Ghana due to their restrictions on Asylum Seekers. But if on the contrary you cannot assist, please keep my having contacted you confidential. Thank you in anticipation of your kind understanding and immediate response.

BEST REGARDS,
Mr Ankor
