Subject: seek for your assistance/co-operation

Hello My Friend, I am Prince Taribo William a representative of a top local Chief who is the major financier of the Niger Delta People Volunteer Force (NDPVF), a Militant Group led by Alhaji Asari Dokubo fighting for the rights and welfare of the Niger Delta people. Niger Delta is the treasure base (Oil region) of our nation Nigeria. Unfortunately, since 1958 oil exploration started in the country, this region has been neglected, marginalized and subjected to hardship. No benefits as oil derivative region only the harmful effects of constant oil spill. Our agitation is to draw the attention of our Government and corroborating Oil Multinationals who turn deaf ear to our yearnings. As result of our predicament, we decided to use militia force to make money by seizing some Oil Wells located in our farmlands that belonged to Government and Multinational Oil Companies. Through oil bunkering the militant group engages in selling crude oil below international market price to some foreigners/foreign companies. With that we make a lot of money for others and ourselves. In 2005, the Government had declared war against us, arrested and put some members of the group including Alhaji Asari Dokubo into detention and as a result of this others yet to be arrested ran for their safety to some neighboring Countries to seek for refuge. Just a few months ago, Alhaji Asari Dokubo was released from the detention by the newly constituted Yar’adua led regime and consequent upon this gesture, our major financier whom happened to be the aforementioned local Chief directed me to get a reliable honest and person who will assist us claim our fund amounting to the sum of US$85,000,000 in a diplomatic Baggage that was deposited with a security company in Cotonou – Benin Republic and for your information the security company does not know that the actual contents because it was declared as Artifacts and some Personal Belongings. We do not want this present regime to know that we have such fund in our purse, hence our resolve for an external machinery to come to our aid in taking up this claim for possible onward depositing into your account overseas. That's why I am writing to seek for your assistance/co-operation to move the consignment out of the security company in Cotonou, Benin Republic to your own country so that the money could be deposited into your account for our mutual benefits.
We shall appreciate your candid gesture. However, I don't want to discuss your percentage share now until I receive your response and assurance to assist us move the consignment to your country. Yours sincerely, Prince Taribo William
