"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,
I write to crave your indulgence over an opportunity rightly at hand, I and my colleaque are among a special TASK FORCE set-up by the Government to monitor activities on TOGO PORTS AND HARBOURS, I am contacting you to establish this relationship with you in a benevolent spirit as to enhance immediate resolution to an opportunity rightly at hand.


It was more like a dream when two of my colleagues intercepted three (3) boxes at our sea port this morning in the attempt to smuggle and ship the boxes out of the country subsequently,the owner according to our investigation were key government opposition to President Gnassigbe (FAURE)Eyadema of Togo,they withdrew from this operation since they obviousely stand no chance of defending the source of the content of these boxes.
After due investigations and clearifications,the consignments has been successfully lodge in a security and cargo company for which content I cannot disclose now for security reason,to ourself.Since we have earlier decided not to officially announce this interception for security and obvious reason.
Note:These consignment has been secretly deposited in a security and cargo company here awaiting shipment.
I am compelled by the event to seek a foreign contact to partner with me in repartriate this consignment for safe investment abroad.Could you in earliest possible confirm your interest and readiness in this venture.
