"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sirs,

Thanks to your country website by-which I got your company's contact address as and exporters of mineral water in your country, this captured my interest I decided to contact you through this medium.

This is an urgent contract in-case you can not do the business kindly forward it to another manufacturers or suppliers:

I will like inform you that there is a contract to supply mineral water to the (AREWO) African Refugees Welfare Organisation to the tune of (US$6.5 million) Sponsored by EGWUENA AGE GRADE OF TOGO.

(1) Standard packing.
(2) Delivery time lead is within 12 months period.
(3) Port of destination is Lome-Togo Port.
(4) Payment terms for the contract is by 100% telegraphic transfer (T/T) before shipment.

Note you will give me 1%commission after the contract is awarded to your favour and the payment made to you, so remember to add the commission which you will give to me as soon as you received the contract fund.

So, kindly confirm if you are capable to handling this contract supply order, by sending your best price quotation based on C&F from your the port of loading to Lome autonome sea-port so that I will take the price to the contract execution committee for their confirmation/pproval, if they accept the price then we will proceed.
