Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

• This email message is a "New Partner from Paraguay" scam.
• This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

Now i want you to contact an accounting officer in this bank, Ecobank Nig plc, her name is Stella Martin i dropped with her a Draft valued the sum of $1.5m for appreciation of your collective efforts and have instructed her immediately you contact her in respect of the Draft, her contact is stated below. Name; Stella Martin. Email Contact; stella_martin2006@yahoo.co.uk Please do let me know immediately you receive this money, in the moment, I am very busy here in London because of the investment projects which myself and the new partner are having at hand, finally, remember as i told you that I have given instruction to the accounting officer on your behalf inrespect of the draft so feel free to get in touch with her and i am sure that she will follow up my instructions without any delay.
