Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Greetings,
Top of the day to you.
I sincerely ask for forgiveness for I know this may seem like a complete intrusion to your privacy but I am Mr. Martin King, a banker with the Prudent International Bank. here in Togo. I have a secured business proposal. This proposal requires your utmost commitment and co-operation which would be used aggressively to pursue results as we progress with this transaction.
I most politely want to bring to your notice that I am not interested in past experiences and I am aware of the internet frauds but this is simply because of time constraint. I am prepared to release further details to you based on your response and your level of commitment. I will be happier if you can send to me your direct phone number so that I will call you for more details on the project.
If you are interested in assisting me, contact me for more details.
Awaiting your earliest response.
Sincerely,
Mr. Martin King
