"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Thanks for your mail i received this eveing and the content are well understood, Anyway my dear, actualy i dont know you in person before, but my director lift here with me a bank draft whort of $950 which is issued on your name Bauerzer Bertina as the feneficiary, to be deliver to you as compesation for your past effort in helping him to transfer some money into your country years ago, but i have some couples of qestion for you before we proceed, could you come down here in person to pick up your draft your self or do you want me to register it with courier company? so that i will go and verify from them how much it will cost you for them to deliver your bank draft, your urgent respond is highly needed. Thanks and remain bless
