"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My Cry For Your Help.

Beloved,

Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into relationship with you.I prayed over it and selected your name among other names due to its esteeming nature and the recommendations given to me as a reputable and trust worthy person that I can do business with and by the recommendation,I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere relationship.

I am Prisca Assoh, the only daugther of late Mr Jasper Assoh.
Before the death of my father he disclosed to me that he deposited a huge ammount in cash concealed in a trunk box and deposited with a security company here in Abidjan Ivory Coast which he declared as family valuables.

Because of political problems here, my late father signed an agreement that the consignment will only be released to my nominated foreign trustee of my choice. So I want you to please assist me stand as my nominated foreign trustee and claim the box from the security company. That money was meant for the importation of machineries for his coffee processing plant for a company which he wanted to establish in Abidjan Ivory coast.

Unfortunately he did not live to achieve it before he was gunned down. I am soliciting for your assistance to help me to claim this consignment from the security company on my behalf and aid me to leave Africa. But since I have no experience or interest in this type of business he advised me to seek a reliable and trust worthy business partner who will assist me to claim, secure and invest the funds in any meaningful lucrative business in your country because this is my only hope in life.

You shall be entitled to a significant portion of the fund which will be deliberated upon your acceptance to this offer.
Thanks for your kind attention and expected positive response upon receipt of your mail.

My dear,I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1) To assist me stand as my nominated foreign trustee and claim the box from the security company.

(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am only 21years.

(3) To secure and invest the funds in any meaningful lucrative business in your country.

I will send my photos across to you.

Yours Sincerely,

Prisca Assoh.
