"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Mr. Amarjit

We received another address send on your behalf by one Mr. Morris Powel who
claim to be your business representative in Canada. In his letter, he said
that you would be on a business trip to Canada and that is the reason you
want us to deliver your consignment to his address in Canada.

Note, we cannot change the first address you gave for the delivery of this
consignment this is to avoid litigation after the consignment is delivered
in the new address. If you insist that the consignment should be delivered
to the new address, then you have to cover the instruction with legal
document

Note, if you fail to respond to this information immediately, we will stop
the delivery of your consignment to be handled by a new diplomatic agent
assigned for the delivery contract.

I need to hear from you immediately.
