"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dearest Beloved One,

Dearest Beloved One,

I am Mrs. Elodie Brun from Haiti Nationality. I was married to Late
Cheif Christopher Brun. who was a great dealler of all kinds of agricultural
chemical products and also a suppleir.

During one of his treap to african contenent, he brought a quantity of gold
by unusaual opportunity in a tick forest in west africa and resold the gold
with some unquestionable foreign puchasers with the sum of $4.500 million.

He distimuted the money in a limp matal and deposited it unders a security
company in Ivoiry Coast.while decleared with the company that the matal box
contain some family valuables for his partners abroad, and he did not mention
anyones name as the beneficiary.

I have to travel to Ivoiry Coast to locate the security company due to the
present situation that i'm facing since my husband was killed and my
husband's relatives plotted agains me to take all my husband's wealth
because i do not have a child to inherit it and it better i do not die
leaving the money in africa, rather i prefare it to reach the poor and the
lessprivilaged ones in the society.

I have decided to undertake this bussiness with you a neutral person for my
life sake and I would like you to take me as your own and show me cause to
trust you and also suggest a percentage of the money that will pleased you.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall tell the security company to deliver
the money to you.

Mrs. Elodie Brun.
