Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Subject: COMPLIMENTS
Dear Pastor,
Hope you are good over there. It will be my pleasure to assist your congregation with the funds in the custody of the Security Company but I wish to let you know that I do not have access to the equipment with which to print out the said form. Moreover , in my religion , when donations are made by well-meaning individuals , we do not go about letting people know where such donations came from. We always prefer to be anonymous about things of such kinds. I do not know about your religion.
All I wanted from you is to laise with the Security Company on how best to deliver the consignments of funds to you in your country. I shall be grateful when this project is completed. Thanks for your care,
Regards
Kalim Durak
