Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

I am an Account Officer, My name is Eze Adams, a Banker. I am the personal
Account Manager to Engineer.P.W.CHUNG, a who was an expertrate contractor
here in my country. Here in after shall be referred to as my client,my
client passed on as a result of a heart attack. Since then I have made
several inquiries to your embassy to locate any of my client's extended
Relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful.
After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to trace his last name
over the Internet, to locate any member of his family hence I contacted you.
I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left behind by my
client before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank
where this huge deposits were lodged, particularly the Bank. Where the
deceased had an account Valued at about ($6 Million US Dollars) has Issued
me a notice to provide the next of kin. Or have the account confiscated
within the next ten official working days.
Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2 years
