"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR FOREIGN ASSISTNCE NEEDED SIR!

Dear Sir, My names are Yormie Iyieke a native of Monrovia in Liberia. I have been trying to reach out to you since i feel that you are the right person that can assist I and my younger sister who has been in Bujumbura refugee camp here in Ghana for the past years. I write you with absolute confidence to seek your assistance in helping I and my younger sister to claim our Fund $15.8 million U.S Dollars with Money and Gold in a sealed metallic trunk boxes in an Insurance and safe security company here in Ghana left by my late father the late Dr. Samuel Iyieke who was the executive director of Liberia mining co-operation (L.M.C) Monrovia. I lost my father during the civil war in Liberia, and i, my mother and my younger sister left for Ghana to seek refuge, during this period my mother showed me all the documents regarding this fund, but due to the disturbing ill health of my mother before her death in Ghana and lack of fund we could not clear this !
fund from the security company. Right now i and my younger sister are in a strange country , our only hope is these fund, that is why I write you to assist us in clearing this fund out of Africa with your personalities to overseas, so that you can help us in investing these fund in a lucrative business that is profitable for I and my younger sister as our Guidance Parent, so that we can come over to your country to live with you and have a sound education and take us as your children till when we are well grown up to age to manage the business. Right now, all documents covering the deposit of the boxes are in our custody, and I have gone to the Insurance/ safe security company, they inform me that the agreement signed with them by my late father was that i have to provide a lawyer who will help me to sign the legal documents for the release of the trunk boxes, and also I must have a foreign partner that the trunk boxes will be delivered to outside Afri!
ca. So sir, this is the reason why I am contacting you, to be my
beneficiary with your personalities, so that you can assist I and my younger sister. Already I have found a trustworthy and God fearing lawyer, who attends the same Catholic Church with us near the camp, he said he can assist us but we cannot fund his bills. His name is BARRISTER JACOB KAMARA; I will like you to tell me, how much you take from the funds for your assistance when it is delivered to you, so that when I hear from you I can contact the lawyer who will assist us in signing the release of the trunk boxes from the security company on your name. Sir, I will like you not to disclose this transaction to anybody, Since i and my younger sister is willing to stand behind you without anybody putting eyes on us your children, Becausee nobody knows that we have this kind of fund in Ghana. I await your response as soon as you get my mail, and please try and reach me back. You can reach i and my younger sister on this line below TEL; 00233-2464!
