"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Amarjit Singh,

How are you today? thanks for your personal relationship and
understanding and prompt communications, you see, i told you
earlier on that in my quest to get a reliable and honest
business associate, i went to a data in the Ghana Chamber of
Commerce and industry to make a comprehensive research, when i
came accross your profile, i was well pleased and satisfied
though i can not explain who or how exactly your profile came on
board for that particular day,but i beleived in my mind that it
was a divine arrangement that we will work together as good
partnerships in business and brother hood.

So my good brother Singh, concerning the proposal letter you
received from Cote d'Ivoire, you should not focus on it because
as a man of intergrity , there is every tendency for you to
receive proposals but you must be very skeptical about the
proposal you consider useful, though such opportunities exist
especially here in Africa because of bad and selfish leadership
of this part of the world, but the truth of the matter is that
not most of them are true, just like you said, there is no
potential evidence that proved the story to be truth or even
existed that is why they thief your hard laboured money, i must
guide you and advice you correctly because we are now more or
less brothers ok.

Sir, the most important thing now is to concentrate and expedite
action in this slite opportunity that came by us as you
rightfully said in your letter, in as much as i am here in the
bank, everything must surely look good and my greatest desire is
to invest in UK-LONDON no matter how small the investment is, i
think with you now, i am rest assured that i have arrived and
this is a dream come true, thank God you have a wealth of
experiences in business and as you said, you have lots of
business oppotunities at moment where we can invest this funds
into.

Infact i see you as a good companion, full of business
experiences, i also look forward to good, lasting future
business deals with you alone both here in Africa and there in
UNITED KINGDOM.

Once again, thanks for your understanding and try as much as
possible to ignore these bulks of business proposal letters you
said that you are receiving especially from Africa and lets face
reality, i will not like any misfutune to happen to you again
please!, but i can assure you that Financial wealth will soon
smile on our faces.just cooperate with me and the bank we will
surely work out the modality thats all.

I need your private cell phone number for urgent communications.
here below is attached copy of my International passport just
for you to know me in person upon arrival here in Ghana to
effect the fund transfer directly into your nominated account in
London.

Respectfully,
Dr.Kwame Agyenmang.
Tel: 00233-276-177-168.

I apologize for the late reply.

Last year I received an email about an inheritance in Cote
d'Ivoire. Even though I paid almost £2500 ($5000) in fees to
Barrister Eze, I have not yet received the money.

I don't want to get burnt again.
Can I really trust you?
