"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

RE: URGENT PAYMENT NOTIFICATION

Reference to our last meeting held in Davos, Switzerland on the 26th - 30th Sept, 2005, I, Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, concluded the Annual Meeting by urging participants to exercise "self responsibility, global responsibility – and the tsunami aid showed that we are capable of this - and responsibility to the next generation, including Africa's debt relief, of which G8 President and British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Nigeria’s President Olusegun Obasanjo, agreed at the Meeting for the cancellation of Multilateral debt to the most impoverished nations in West Africa and the subsequent payment of Nigerian beneficiary(s) / contractors, as a pre-condition for international investors to invest in Africa, most especially Nigeria, of which it was agreed upon that both foreign and local inheritance beneficiaries must be paid their entitlements with a new payment procedure already put in place by this World Economic Forum
/ World Bank & IMF.

After we have studied intelligent reports on your payment forwarded to us by the West Africa Consulate who are members of this forum, we discovered that your payment is being withheld due to your non-payment of various charges imposed / payment anomalies at the Central Bank of Nigeria/Commercial Banks/Offshore payment centres, which we consider as weapon/sabotage to world economic growth, of which we hereby BAN such activities in our ploy to rid Africa of this atrocities/fraudulent acts perpetrated by unscrupulous elements of their society. To this end, you are to stop communication with any office in Nigeria and abroad concerning your long over-due payment, aside the Director of Telex/wire transfer department of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) who has been mandated by authority of the World Economic Forum to verify and remit all outstanding contract and inheritance payment to various beneficiaries involve in this arrangement.
