"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear VICTIM-FULLNAME,

Thank you for your mail which I have been expecting all these while. Actually,this is not a spam mail. my former boss left a bank certified draft bearing your name which I was instructed by my former boss to send to you as soon as you contact me for it and I am glad you have now contacted me for it. Currently the draft is here with me here in Benin Republic and I will send it to you as soon as we finalise arranging for the sending process.

Therefore, what is need from you to enable me send your draft to you is for you to send to me your home/house address where your draft will be sent to you and also your phone number where you shall be contacted once the draft arrives your country, to enable me courrier your draft to you through the DHL courrier service.

As soon as I receive your home/house address, I shall go to the DHL courier service to send your draft to you and send to you the tracking numbers.

You can call me on my private Number 00229 9370 7281 as soon as you receive this mail as I wait to receive your your mail along with your Full name. home/house address where I have to send your draft..
