"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: matter of urgency Please.......

Dear VICTIMNAME,

Thanks for your urgent response, I want to let you know I really appreciate your willing to assist me on this. Talking about trust, I do not have any fear in my mind concerning you, but please I want you to promise me that I can count on you any time with my money. All we
Need from you is to submit the following to us;

1. Your complete names,
2. Your complete mailing Address
3. Your phone contacts,
4. Your occupation, business, area of specialization, position in office est.

With the above required information from you, we will ask any of our customers that can make payment to us through you, to channel his / her payment through you as our payment representative in your area. The rationale for this is not far-fetched, here in Nigeria, we have a very slow process in receiving and making payments abroad and this tend to pose hindrances in dealing with our abroad customers and associates.
Please understand that in any payment made through you to us, you will be entitled to a 10% of the amount paid through you to us. Please also understand that upon the receipt of your email to work with us, we will instruct our Attorneys to prepare a contract agreement between us, and a draft copy of it will be send to you for a review.
I hope the above stated terms are clear for your understanding. I
Await your further response.
Sincerely

Engr.Sam David.
