Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Subject: RE: Your email
Dear VICTIMNAME, Thanks for your mail and explaination. In respect to your mail,I want you to know that in the world today we have two types of people, the good and the bad and all of them are into existence. Sir,I want you to bear in mind that the deposit am talking about is in europe of which i believe you are in London while the deposit is in Amsterdam, and i believe is closer to you as i have never been there before. Please I want you to know that the bible says two can not go with-out an agreement,as it's written in the book of Amos 3 vs 3,please let us agree that we can realise this transfer together and forge ahead. All i need from you is to stand as my partner so that i can nominate you to the firm in amsterdam for them to recognise you as my partner so that they can release the deposit to you, ifaccepted by you,we can discuss in details,i assure you,you can trust me and also we will build a good relationship between us. Till then, bye and remain blessed. Regards,
Vivian Masel.
