Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Subject: RE: Your reply
Good day Mr VICTIMNAME,
I want to inform you of the modalities of this matter...I would want
you to know that i am a reknowned lawyer and also dont indulge my self in
dubious things...I certainly want to assure you that this is a legitimate
one and also if you want to know the modalities involved i would want you to
reply me as soon as possible...
I repeat again i would not come up to you with a non-legit
transaction...I would want you to contact the security company in charge of
the cash registered in your name and verify anything you would need to know
from them.
I would state to you in details what you are going to do so as to
claim what has been assigned to you legally and without trouble and stress.
Thank you for your co-operation and outspoken mind
Yours sincerely
Barr. Ganni Bello.
