"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: FROM MARY

Dear in the Lord,

I am Miss Mary Adam from Ghana,I am the only daughter of Adam Jaja the executive director and the owner of ADAMS FRAM/AGRO INDUSTRY LTD here in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire.

My late father was murdered in cold blood by some armed gang on the 17th may 2004 while on his way coming home for lunch, before the death of my late father ,my late father told me that he deposited a trunk box which
contains the sum of 15 million US dollars in a security company here in the country ,and he declared the trunk box as containing Africa art works and family treasures for the safe keeping of the money.

Till today, the security company is not aware of the real content of the trunk box which my late father deposited in their custody.

I will give you the details of this transaction in full if you are willing to assist me in claiming out the box from the security company for investment in your country.

I will offer you 20% of the total money that is involved and give you 5% for any expences you incured while 75% will be for me for the investment in your country.

I wait for your urgent reply.

Thanks,

Miss Mary Adam.
