Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Hello sir/madam,
Late Mr. E. Schneider
I am compelled to write you this email for the following reason:
The above named person, who is now deceased, in His Will, left for
someone who bears your name his entire Estate and Cash deposit valued
Ten million and Five hundred thousand United States Dollars (US$10,500,000.00).
He was among the victims of the SwissAir Crash, and I was his Attorney until the
unfortunate incident. I have been mandated by the Financial Institution
where this fund is lodged to locate any surviving next of kin, or the account
will be classified as unserviceable account and the fund forfeited to the Government.
The truth is that, l do not know if you are the beneficiary or not. For two years now, l have tried effortlessly to locate the name on the will without success hence l have contact you since you are having similiarity of name.
Can you please get back to me urgently if you think you are the one or
you desire further explanation.
You can reach me through my alternative email address
brucekent321@mail.ru
Regards
Attorney Mr. Bruce Kent
