"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend.

My name is Barrister Rapheal, I am a Lawyer by Profession. I am writing to you after i concluded of trying to see how we can help each other.

My Client who is from Kumasi, has a Large Trunk Box, which involve a large sum of Money Involving USD1.Million ($1Million) Presently the Box which contain Business Document , Precious Stone like Gold and White Diamonds. This are Claims of his Father riches. which has been saved in a Bank all this while, but after his Dead the Diplomatic Mission decided to transfer the funds out of the Country.

After Claiming this, i will kindly want you to use this Money and Invest in your Country. so you can use it to take care of the Children of Mr. Junior

We are looking for someone close to your area to help, as representative in claiming this Items.
