"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Subject: Re:Mutual Business Cooperations with you.

Dear Sir,

Re:Mutual Business Cooperations with you.

Henry Fedrick is my names, and I am the Nigerian ports authority Maritime
Security Coast gaurad in Bayelsa State of Nigeria.

Following the discovery of 6 Metal boxes each containing US$50 Million
intended to be smuggled out of the country by sea.I immediately handed 1 of
the boxes to a sea captain of a loaded oil tanker vessel heading to Europe
for safe-keeping with a Safe-keeping security company.

Four (5) of the boxes were handed over to the naval police who identified
the boxes as being owned by Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha ,the state
Governor of the Bayelsa state, who on approach denied the ownership of the
boxes of money, hence the money was turned into the NPA Government bank
account.

By the nature of my job and the oath of conduct bureau,I can not travel to
europe to claim this deposit of US$50Million.I here therefore write to
recommend you the owner of the box of money already in Europe in my
names,so that you can receive them for our mutual benefits for investments
in your Country until I can join you in 2007 when I will retire from active
Goverenment services.

Once I hear from you I will furnish you all details for you to be in Europe
to claim this money.

Hoping to hear from you soonest.

Yours sincerely,
Henry Fedrick.

NB:Please spare some time to read this sites for the activities of the said
Governor of this state and be sure of my contact proceedings with you;
