Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Subject: Escaping with USD200 million


Dear friend,

May the blessings of the Almighty Allah be with you.
I am
Abdul Mottalib Ali, former Chief Accountant and Personal Assistant
to
the deposed President Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

Like most of my former
colleagues who escaped the American and British
Authorities after the
fall of Saddam Hussein, I went underground and
actively supported the
widespread insurgency which has defied the
American and British
Authorities to this day. The current insurgency is
protracted because
there is virtually limitless funds to sponsor small and
medium terror
groups which liter the Iraqi landscape. The funding came
from the
millions of United States Dollars which former President
Saddam
Hussein ordered me to hide in hidden underground bunkers.

Shortly
after the new Prime Minister, Ibrahim Jaafari was named in
April, the
new Iraqi Government offered AMNESTY to all resistant groups
loosely
called terrorists. Very few heeded the call because that was an
invitation to instant death.

Over time, it has become evident that the
British and the Americans
will not leave Iraq, and that the car bombs
killed more Iraqis than the
occupying forces… After several days of
prayers and fasting, the Almighty
Allah instructed me to STOP the
never – ending war against the American
Authorities, the British
Authorities , and my fellow Iraqis…

I have recanted and absolutely
renounce violence, and now, I wish to
live peacefully abroad. This is
very urgent and a top priority because
the “terrorist network” in Iraq
will surely spread out and kill me sooner
or later if I remain in
Iraq, even in hiding… .THEREFORE, I CANNOT
CONTINUE TO LIVE IN IRAQ
BECAUSE I AM NOW CONSIDERED A TRAITOR BY THE
TERRORISTS! This is why I
am hiding at an undisclosed “safe house” near the
Iraq/Jordanian
border. I cannot use a telephone or fax because these
can be traced
easily. I will therefore communicate with you via email
only, at least
for the time being.

I desperately need your help to escape. The only
way out is by private
jet to Amman, Jordan. Can you arrange a private
jet charter for me? I
have over USD200 million in cash with me. I can
carry as much as I can
with me to safety and we can share the money
50% each. If you can help
me, please reply urgently so that we can
conclude the plan for my
escape.
