"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,
How are you and every member of your family? Fine i hope.I am Innocent Davies.
Importantly, my son's wedding will be coming up on the 26th of June
2005 and i want you to handle the Photographic aspect of the event.
It's a church wedding which is scheduled to hold on the aformentioned date by 10:00A.M. in the beautiful St. Mary's Parish Church which is very close to High Barn,Essex, the venue of the reception.

About the venue:High Barn,it's set in the attractive village of Great Bardfield, close to the beautiful St. Mary's Parish Church where the church service will be held.
High Barn is about 15-20 minutes from Stansted Airport via the new A120 to Great Dunmow, from where you take the Dunmow South exit on to A130 north and then on to the B1256.
Turning left at Palm Trees Restaurant you follow the road for 10 minutes which brings you into Great Bardfield, High Barn being the first turn on the left.
Moreso, i will want you to be there with your tools a day before the
date to avoid any unwanted delay. So, my personal assistant will
come to you a day before the wedding to take you to the venue of the
occassion so that you can get together with the family and the venue before the event.
He[personal assistant] will check you into any hotel of your choice around the venue, transport to the venue,hotel bills and feeding will be financially taken by me.
