Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Subject: UPDATE ME PLEASE!
Dear friend,
What is the situation right now? I am every minutes of the day expecting your reply or invitation for the sharing of our money on our transaction. Are you with the money now? . I am very worried of not hearing
your update since days ago. Where are we right now concerning the
transaction? Is our money with you right now?. I believe that by now, you must suppose to be through with the bank and HCPC.
Please note that my life lies on that money and I will not be grateful if only you will take a decision of keeping this money only yourself. Remember that we suffered together. Please if you are with the money inform me so that I will start preparing the grounds towards visiting your country with my family for the sharing.
Your Friend,
Dunant.
