"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT HELP!

My name is Gloria Santos from Angola in Africa,i am 45yrs old, with kids,a
widow,i lost my husband during the war in my country angola,before the death
of the husband he deposited the sum $3.2 million dollars in a security company,and
now the company contacted me to look for an investor who will help me and
my dear family lay claims on the money so that the money will be transfered
into any bank account,anywhere in the world,hence i will live there and
invest my money in ur country,my country in africa is not a safe place to
invest,pls if u are in the position to actulize this transaction for me
and my family u will benefit mutually from it all,pls u can send me an email

very happy to hear from u sir.Thanks.
