"World Mobile Phone Network cash Bonanza" is a fake lottery run by a gang (probably from Nigeria) that operates in Dubai and maybe other countries. It involves mobile phone messages, phone calls and emails.

Please send us replies by "claims agents", especially money demands and payment instructions, we will publish them here. You can also submit such fraud emails to the Scam-O-Matic.

Please forward copies of fraud emails to the abuse department of the webmail address listed as the contact email for the "claims agent". Ask for the domains / addresses to be suspended because they are used in a 419 fraud (see 419 FAQ).

Having received the third email I called the 0044703 number and spoke to a male,who claims to be Anthonio Peterson, whose voice resembled that of an african origin, presumably Nigerian. I enquired about the authenticity of the Certificate and was that the other 16 winners had received their money. I then requested to speak to the lady by the name of Mrs Lyn Brown whom had sent me the first email and was informed that she was attached to their Dubai office. The number given was 00971502810187. I tried calling the number but it was engaged.


Just to advise you that I have not made any money transaction to the above said person nor will I do so in the future.


I hope the details and emails that I have given are helpful to your cause to stop these criminals and hopefully lead to some arrest.
