"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: IMPORTANT BIZ-NEED YOUR COOPERATI ON

 Dear Sir,

I wish to make a proposal which I believe will benefit both sides. I have my client from Africa here who is seeking for the political post to become president in his country, but at the moment, the totality of his funds were kept outside Africa, in three financial instruments (3 Bonds) totaling about $140,000,000
(One Hundred and Forty Million United States dollars)

As such, he needs to be very careful henceforth in all his business transactions. He would like to step out of the box and deal with people whom he has not dealt with before, because if he continues to do business with people he has been dealing with all along, somewhere along the line, they would have too much information about him,and might be well positioned to blackmail him as well.

As a matter of urgency, I have advised him to get the ownership of these instruments out of his name, and for this reason, he needs a trustworthy person to take over ownership of the instruments and manage them on his behalf for a period of four years, for which he is expected to stay in office, if he wins the election.

There is an arrangement he had already concluded for turning the instruments to liquid cash and for same to be lodged into supense accounts (or deposited in a security vaults) asociated with each holding bank. This would be actualized on or before ownership of the funds is transferred to you.Thereafter, the funds would be tranffered to your account/custody for investment into your line of experienced business, and any time the candidate may need liquid cash for his election projects, you would provide it out of the proceeds from the investments. The candidate stressed that his resolve to turn and safeguard the cash proceeds of the instruments in suspense accounts or security vaults was due to some unpleasant over-taxation on the bonds, which has existed at the banks for several years; the other reason is because he will be needing cash for his electoral campaigns very soon, as already mentioned above.

The instruments includes a Euro 82 million Bond issued by Societe Generale (approximately $100 million), a $25 million Bond issued by Morgan Stanley and another $15 million bond issued by Bank of America, Merrill Lynch. They can be verified on EUROCLEAR. He is willing to hand over the proceeds of these bonds to you to manage on an 80/20 basis, 80% for him and 20% to you.

If this proposal is acceptable, he will first make you the beneficiary of the funds by changing owership to your name.Following this, the information on how and the exact places to trace the funds will be given to you including any other relevant information.

Note, He said you would be assisting him on the cost of transferring ownership of the funds to your name considering his political position that will not permit him to front the change of the ownership / transfer of the funds to your cutordy. Think about this proposal and if there are any questions on any grey area, kindly feel free to
ask.

I await your reply at the earliest possible time through my private email: bejovimi@yahoo.fr

Thanks.
