"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

The Abn-Amro bank has recently closed its operation in Europe following its acquisition by the larger RBS banking group, a committee has been appointed to oversee dormant accounts and offset pending transactions. I am a member of this committee with the former London branch.
During this process i discovered a dormant account formerly operated by our deceased client. The account is funded to the tune of Ten Million British pounds (£10,000,000 pounds) and the only account signatory(Ibrahim Saleh Talaat) died in an air crash some years ago view: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/502503.stm

Using my insider leverage, i can arrange for this fund to be transferred to you as the beneficiary from the U.K Investment bank assigned to make pay offs. Provide me with your full names, and phone numbers for more details. Reply to my private email(frank_sidwell@info.al).
Regards,
Frank Sidwell
