"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dearest in the lord,

Dearest in the lord,

I am Mrs. Ann Munaba, 58 years, the wife of late Asifa D. Munaba. We are Indonesia Nationality. In the year 1998, my late husband together with his bussiniess associate jointly established Cocoa threshing, importing and exporting company in Ivory Coast West Africa where he lived till death. This bussiness was very lucrative and prosperous for both of them untill his assasination on 4th February 2005. Before his death, we were devoted christians. We were married for fifteen years without a child. Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against.

Before the death of my husband, he earleir confided in me of a secret deposit which he made in Ivory Coast using my names as the next of kin. His intention was to use the fund for onward investment oversea, but the cold hands of death could not allow him accomplish this dream. I have also all the legal documents confirming this deposit in question. My contacting you is because of my condition, hence I have resolved to donate the fund ($2.5 Million) to you and would want you to use this gift which comes from my husband's effort to fund the upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the down-trodden, physically challenged children, barren-women and persons who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially. This fund in question is presently contained inside a trunk metal box which is deposited in storage company in Abidjan Ivory Coast under my name as his next of kin.

The Bible made us to understand that blessed is the hand that giveth, I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don't want my husband's efforts to be used by unbelievers. I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace

My husband and I made a vow to uplift the down-trodden and the less-privileged individuals as he had passion for persons who can not help themselves due to physical disability or financial predicament.

You may be surprised or be asking why I took this decision. Recently, my doctor confirmed to me that I have limited days to live due to the cancerous problems I am suffering from for many years now. With this hard reality that has befallen my family, I have decided to donate this fund since life is no longer meaningful to me and I forbid given my husband's relatives access to it due to their wicked attitude since after the burial of my husband. They considered me to be a wicked witch and call me all sorts of names.

If you are interested and capable to carry out this task, I will link you to my late husband's attorney in Ivory Coast whom i have since told about my intents towards the deposit.

My happiness is that I lived a life worthy of emulation. Please assure me that you will act just as I have stated herein when the fund enters into your care.

Hope to hear from you soon.

God bless you and members of your family.

Mrs. Ann Munaba.
